I am sure this be fine but, just wanted to check...

Checked in online tonight for a flight tomorrow and was trying to print out confirmation (had no intention of printing boarding passes...). Was having printer problems, so asked husband to print out confirmation whilst I put the dinner on...

... came back upstairs to find he has attempted to print out boarding passes as well [:?] and it all went wrong (printer is rapidly on the way out...). So we have no boarding passes (despite "him indoors" selecting to print them).

Presumably there wont be a problem if we turn up at UC check-in tomorrow? They can just print our boarding passes for us, can't they? [?]

(am sure it is a stupid question...)

No problem whatsoever. I never print out the confirmation (although I did in the beginning) nor boarding passes. In fact a couple of weeks ago at LHR the lady in UC check-in says she prefers to print out boarding passes even when people have printed their own because they don't always scan well.

In any case it's nicer to have the purple ones to wave around when you're trying to fight your way through to priority boarding [:p]

Thanks honey lamb - didn't think that there would be a problem, but appreciate the peace of mind that you have given me :)

Do I need a suit of armour and a large stick to fight my way onboard? Do Virgin actually have a seperate queue for priority boarding?

Thanks,
Boo

Well they're MEANT to but it sometimes fails to materialise. However they almost always have a big sign up indicatingpriority boarding so the trick is to walk past the main queue and head for this then stand conspicuously there proferring your boarding pass/passport. As the staff know there's MEANT to be priority boarding one will frequently then come and get you. Failing that it is not completely unknown for people just to open the tensa barrier and walk through - soon gets attention... or not.
