Morning

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of flying with them to HK in Y or business? Their prices are very tempting but it would be useful if anyone can shed any light on what they are like to fly with.

Thanks

I seem to remember that there was talk on here about the poor start they had when the launch flight was cancelled or delayed, but I haven't seen anything recently.

There are a couple of TRs on Flyertalk here, and here that may help you decide.

If you do use them, we will look forward to your TR.

Not sure when you are looking to book but my Parents are flying Business Class with them next month and I will get their thoughts/opinions when they are back, I think they paid abt £750 each for their tickets.

If you are looking to fly Y to HKG, have a look a ANZ. They often have some fantastic offers for their LHR>HKG route. ANZ offer 34" seat pitch in Y as well and are a FC partner [y]

Not sure if this will be any use to you (or any other v-flyers for that matter), but Oasis are offering 3,000 free London - Hong Kong sectors if you buy a round trip. You must book the offer on 20/21 August and the free sector is only valid on O8 715 (departs LGW at 21:20, arrives HKG at 16:50 next day on Wed/Fri/Sun). Valid for travel between 16 December 2007 and 24 October 2008.

Full details as well as all the terms and conditions are here.

I suppose that based on the fact the offer is for 3 months with 3 flights per week, that works out around 20 seats per flight....depending on how they work out the offer I suppose......means you have to be quick if you have specific dates in mind

I walked by the Oasis gate at HKG at the start of the week and the whole flight crew were Brits looked like retired ex-BA, the aircraft looked clean and in good nick think it was a 747-400.

A friend of mine wrote another trip report about flying with Oasis a couple of months back. Thumbs up reported there, and qualified thumbs up for the business class product in one of the comments.

(Edited: one of these days I promise I will pay attention to those little words "HTML is OFF, Forum Code is ON...")
