Upper Class Companion ticket

Could someone advise me? I have an Amex card and was hoping that when I reach the 15k limit I would get a companion ticket. I was hoping to buy an upper class ticket to Del from LHR like I did last year - I think it was a discounted ticket not sure of the code, but would I be able to get a companion ticket as a result of using my Amex card and reaching the 15k spend needed for this?

Can anyone help me on this matter?

If part of the T&C of your Amex card is that you will get a companion ticket when you reach the limit then you will. You will be able to buy a COMPANION UC ticket to DEL which will require the purchase of a J UC ticket - the highest priced ticket available.

Currently looking for prices in say late August you could get a Z (lowest price UC) for around £1,175 whereas a J comes in at around £3,760.
