I am currently researching aspects of the Virgin Atlantic upper class lounges as part of a redevelopment project. Are there specific areas that are lacking, for example are the lounges biased at all to one sort of traveller, or are you happy with the standard? Any comments, positive or otherwise would be greatly appreciated and may lead to changes in the lounges themselves.

Thank you for your time,

David Baum

Dave do you know Andy?

It looks like both of you are students doing some research - waht exactly are you after. What is the outline of th ehomework/task you have been given.

A few of us here could talk about the Clubhouses in excruciating detail as there are more than one around the world, and some are better than others. SO give us some pointers and we will help where we can.

VS actually have a student inforamtion pack at: http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/our_stor ... ck.view.do

Thanks,
Richard

Virgin have placed a touch screen Question monitor in the clubhouse asking passengers what they would like to see happen in the lounge and what they would like in the lounge (extra facilities).

Though the Lounge is nice, its Boreing for regular travellers like myself who go through at least twice a month.

For the novice traveller its really Nice and different to other airline lounges and yes it does have an edge.

When Busy, there are not enough toilets or general seating, they also need a sleep area or snooze rooms.
The Menu has improved the last month, but previous menus were very lacking in quaility or quantity.
There are less snacky items spread along the bar top than there used to be.

Dont get me wrong its a Good lounge, but when you give passengers something Fun and different, you have to keep that New and fresh edge to make it better than the rest.

No more News about the extention into Air Canada's lounge, lets hope they introduce some really neat ideas.

There are only two Internet stations (and sometimes one or both breakdown).
