My heart goes out to all England rugby fans this evening (Bazz, AlanA, and the rest).

It's a credit to your team that you made it to the finals again, but I know winning is the object.

Here's hoping you go back to the next World Cup and reclaim your rightful glory! [^][^][^]

The guys did very very well, they were not expected to get anywhere this year and played well above their mark [y]

We must learn that we can't give away penalties under the sticks! A brave effort by our lads but on the night, the best team won.

It's all down to Lewis now!

the best team won.

I don't think either team played particularly well; all the players seemed tired and sluggish to me.

We got away, just, with silly errors against the French but last night paid for them.

Neither team played that well with 50-60 gone England could have won- but the SA lineouts were fantastic, we didnt stand a chance everytime we kicked down to their 10metre line. Sure SA may have had the easier side of the draw in the knockout stages but they deserved it.

But well done to the boys- they did much better than anyone thought. Considering 5 weeks ago the Sprinboks thrashed us and there was concern we wouldnt get to the knockouts a big [^] is needed!

England did much better than their initial 36-0 thrashing, but I expected more from the Boks, especially Habana and Montgomery.

I thought the France Agentina game on the Friday was a real blinder. Both teams played as though they were playing in the final, some excellent fast moving rugby, even if it did cut up a bit rough a couple of times.

Argentina is the team that has come out best in the RWC I think; it has far exceeded expectations.

Yeh agreed- I think its about time that Argentina was either included in the tri nations or the 6 nations. Looking more likely to be a 7 nations at the moment.

Wouldn't personally call it a dark weekend- after all if 8 months ago someone had told you we would make the RWC final and jsut loose and also that Hamilton would loose the championship by 1 point, you would have laughed them out of sight. I think we can proud of both efforts.

As for the football well that was a dark wednesday.
