Well I've finally booked my flights after some wonderful help from the FC team to SFO / LAS, including my first Upper trip.. can't wait!

Has anyone been on the new config yet for the LHR route and got any tips, at the moment I'm in 23K, and then for the return in PE put myself in 31C but worried I might be a bit close to the gally with wanting to sleep a bit of the flight!

So any suggestions and advice greatly recieved... currently going through a back log of messages to get advice!

On the new config 4's, I'd say the best seats were rows 12-16; although at the moment they don't tend to let you pre-book 12-14. The A section is a more intimate cabin, and rows 16 forward are far enough away from the IFBT so as not to disturb you.

In PE on the new config, both Nottingham Nick and ukcobra have very positive things to say about 28A/C, although you'll need to grab those when checking-in, if possible. (Nick or ukcobra - can you confirm whether those seats can be reserved on Online Check-In?)

I don't see why they can't be released at check in, but it will take a phone call, so the agent may be reluctant to do this.

I sorted them in the Clubhouse with the help of the brilliant concierge staff. [oo]

annoyingly nothing left at the moment in 12 - 16 rows.. but I'll keep an eye on it and try and check in... same goes for the PE seats, thanks for the tips!
