For the last few weeks I have been unable to look at the seat map for my outbound flight, it just says that my seats will be allocated at check-in. I have email Virgin and they have said that nobody will be able to access the seat map because all seats are now reserved. I have just go on to VA and VH and made a bogus booking for the same date and both site come up with seats available in UC. Any suggestions then why I can't access outbound leg?

Only 60% of the seats on the aircraft are available for pre-booking, so once that 60% has been pre-booked the remaining 40% are still available for sale but just not able to be pre-selected. You will be able to use OLCI and choose from the remaining 40%.

If you let us have you flight details I can check the seat map on EF and see what that is looking like also.

Hi Gill

I had this problem when I was checking our flights to LAS last month. I had chosen PE seats upstairs for the return leg but when accessing the booking it said the same thing as yours.

We had no problems though, we were able to do OLCI and we still had the same seats we selected originally.

Hope that helps put your mind at rest

Same thing for me, my flight is Oct, previous years I have been able to view my seats right up to the last minute even when thewhole cabin was red. Now once the cabins 60% booked the seatmap dissapears.

If you double click on the pax names though it will let you see your allocated seat number.
