New Clubhouse Manager

VS were advertising last night in the Evening Standard for a Clubhouse Manager based at LHR to help deliver;
"...a new and exciting food and drink concept..."

Does anyone know what this is likely to mean?

I would guess it is to make sure they have someone up to speed for the opening of the other side? Also probably to do with the further outsourcing of the teams at all location?

What areas are outsourced now?

Food is purchased and produced by Baxter Smith Ltd, the Chefs and kitchen team work for Baxter Smith.

A larger and larger amount of UK staff are "Full Time" agency.


All of North America is now Sodexho services, food production, wait staff bar staff etc, with VS Employed "Club House Manager" to keep them perfoming to spec.

So I adds two and two together and suspect that with the "Enhanced" Club House comming on line the current manager is promoted to oversee all and a new day to day manager is recuited.

So people in the back are non VS with all customer facing staff being VS?

Have I got that right!?

LGW staff are actually Ground Star staff in Virgin uniforms.

Food is done by Baxter & Platts, which is owned by The Compass Group.

At LGW groundstaff from groundstar where VS uniform with groundstar name badges.

Also at LGW is small team of VS Agents who wear the VS uniform and VS name badge!!!

I'm sure some fo the Clubhouse staff are VS employees, I know that the shoe-shine operation is run by another company though.
