Our flight was with JET2.COM and they are very good indeed.

First of all i had quite a nasty accident 2 days before our flight.(i fell down some stairs) and ended up with a huge bump on my forehead, cut my head and got rushed to hospital as i was also suffering from memory loss and didnt even recognise my husband[:0].I was kept in over night and very lucky to have been allowed out to fly on the early hours of Sat morning.

JET2.COM allows you to check in and pre-book your seats 28 days before travel which is a god send and very easy to do online.

We drove down to Newcastle airport (well my husband had to as i wasnt allowed) and arrived at the long term car park which i prebooked beforehand and jumped on the bus to the airport. We then walked up to the bag drop and swifly made our way to get something to eat upstairs.

Flight was boarding according to the board in 45 min so we we sat and had a coffee and grabbed soemthing to eat.I nipped into Boots as my head was still slightly swolling to get some aspirin as the tablets they gave me at the hospital were just too strong!

All of a sudden there was a final boarding call![:0] We looked at our watches but the plane wasnt due to depart for another 30 min so we rang literally to the gate only to find we were the last people to board the bus to the aircraft! We boarded our aircraft and took our seats in 14ab which were exit seats. My husband asked why were we boarding early and she told us that the captain wanted to take off early.

Our flying time was only about an hour and we could buy something if we wanted to from the in flight kiosk. We just wanted to get some sleep and woke up to find we had in fact just landed a half an hour early![y]

Jumped on the train to Amsterdam centre and walked to our hotel which was sitiated just off the Damrak.Lovely hotel and we had been upgraded to a suite free of charge[y]

Lovely weather in Amsterdam over the weekend and we queued for about an hour to see Ann Franks House which was thought provoking. The Westerkirk church is next to the house which i wanted to go in and see but the doors were closed. We also went through the red light district and went to the Coors Diamond centre, The Amsterdam dungeon and Madame Tussuads.I wanted to hire a bike but my husband quite rightly refused me to go on one as i still wasnt fully recovered.

I took my time and didnt rush anywhere and when i got tired we took a break in one of the lovely cafes.

Our flight home was more of the same and we had the same seats again 14ab.Then we drove back to Glasgow and got home around 11.45pm.

To sum it up Jet2.com are really good and i certainly would recommend them over Ryanair.Staff very friendly & helpful and we will certainly fly with them again.

Thanks fro reading[:X]
