The on line check-in didn't work - apparently the airport staff had pulled the flight to do technical thingies with it and therefore no-one could check in. Rather annoying since you can't pre-select seats on BA usually[:(!].
Anyway luckily self-service check-in worked well on arrival and 2 seats together, despite not being able to do the on-line process. Flight on the return typically was on time - lucky though as this time didn't get Terraces access.
Return flight to LCY is on one of those Arvo jets (BAe 146 like).....not surprising as it is LCY, but one little problem is that it gives you less leg room than on the planes from LHR or LGW[:(]. Luckily not a full flight and no-one in front of me to recline their chair. Just a sandwich on this flight (although better than BMI given that it is free). However whoever thought to give out rolls with poppyseeds on them should be sent back to 'commonsense school!'. Nice bottle of Sav Blanc, which really had to be followed by a second one!![:D]
Lovely landing taking us over the centre on London and past all the sights - one of the benefits of LCY I suppose. The other being that we were out of the airport within 10 mins of landing and that included collecting luggage!
