Well lets just start off by saying I had been thoroughly spoiled by flying out UC and tried my hardest to upgrade homeward bound to no avail.

Check in online day before but then realised the PC in the villa had no printer, really easy to check in online would recommend it to everyone.

Rated this as average only as when we got to the airport it was bedlam. Families were using the PE check in and not booked PE, and I was already short tempered. WE queued and then were directed to economy check in as we had no boarding passes, then the girl at the desk told us our luggage was too heavy so i pointed out it was actually underweight , she was checking us as economy and then forgot to put the correct tags on so we ended up waiting for ages at Manchester for our luggage!

The plane boarded on time and UC and PE priority
Seats were upstairs 79 a and c good seats, no one was behind us so we were able to recline quite a lot.
The food was ok nothing to complain about nor nothing to write home about either. The service was good but the crew seemed to want to get everyone served and it was a bit rushed for the second glass of wine ( i had not even finished the first one and that isnt like me ) and the lights went out without any warning or announcement.

Arrived on time but like I said earlier had to wait for luggage that had not been tagged correctly.

I would liken this PE service to the old economy apart from the seats being a bit bigger and with more legroom.

I have fallen victim to incorrect tagging of luggage at MCO also. Last November when I checked in for my UC flight back to MAN, the check-in agent was about to tag my bags to Gatwick (I don't know how, as he clearly had my booking on his computer screen).

One of my two bags clearly made the 'Upper/PE bin' in the hold, as it was out very fast back at MAN. The second had clearly not made the same bin [or had fallen out somewhere along the line] as it did not appear until a good 20mins later - after an awful lot [well over half as a guess] of the Economy bags.

Very interesting to say that you noted the MCO check-in as bedlam - VS have recently moved to the A-Side at MCO (presumably as this offers more space then they had on the B-Side). It never failed to amaze me how well the MCO [out-sourced, I believe] team manage the check-in operation in a very limited space. Especially given the very high number of special-needs passengers they get.
