Hi, Hope someone can help, in Barbados at the moment & due to come home today. The flight is showing 155+ mins late departing MAN & there's talk over here that the flight back may be cancelled. Does anyone know what's happened to the flight? Think the aircraft was the flight that came in from Orlando & that was on time.

Any help asap would be appreciated.

Thanks Spacecadet

Well both MCO flights landed on time, although the BGI flight is showing on flight stats as being operated by an A340 so if that is the case then it won't be one of the MCO flights.

Flight stats and the VS site shows it as due to depart at 18:15 UK time, but it is gone that now and nothing showing as if it has left. I imagine the later the flight leaves the UK then the less likely a departure tonight from BGI would be, as the 18:15 departure was showing a 22:00 arrival in BGI, so an even later arrival would mean a past midnight departure at best and then it gets in to what is allowed and isn't etc.

Fingers crossed things will work out for you.

Agreed - it does not look good. On the flip side, you do get an extra half day in the Barbados sun courtesy of Virgin (before you have to head out for the airport). The current weather in the UK is 'somewhat cool', when compared to Barbados.

Having said the above, a 5am arrival into MAN is going to be *very* cold if you have been used to the Barbados climate for a week or two. Hope you have a good journey home, when it happens.

Thanks everyone - flight has been delayed by 24 hours so 'stuck' here until tomorrow (definitely worse places to be 'stuck' !) but not looking forward to 5am in Manchester [:(]
