Madrid hotels - October

Looking for Madrid hotel recommendations. The three of us going -Mr DL, DB and I. 4 star (ish)- three nights arriving 26.10.09. Current frontrunner (DB's favourite) is a room on the Club floor at the Intercontinental. Onsite /use of a gym would be useful.

Not sure about your price range, but I used Design Hotels for my stay in Prague - they have independently run hotels all over Europe...
