gift miles 15% premium

nice to see that VS is offering a 15% extra miles gift on you giving miles to friends. a decent thing to do.

what I misunderstood was that you GAVE some of your existing miles, not that you BUY the miles (and get 15% extra...) should be a little clearer on the email!

You are actually the second person on here to make that assumption in the last week or so, and I agree the naming of it can be a little misleading. Always good to get something extra though and the cost can work out quite well if you need a few extra miles to help a loved one/friend gain a reward quicker
