Blimy !

I dread to think what the consequences would have been if there had been the need for an emergency evacuation

I see the row behind is empty.
Was that originally his but the seat pitch made it impossible?
Note the 'missing' armrest!

Or indeed if the PAX needed one ! I guess he would never get into one of their tiny restrooms [:$]

Did notice the row behind was 'empty' but if pax was still boarding then maybe it wasn't his seat. Easy to make assumptions from a photo.

As for the 'missing' arm rest, do you mean the one he is sitting on.[:$]

Take that armrest and burn it...

I'm more worried that he might actually be in someone else's seat. One that was occupied by the first on-board. [}:)]

OMG[:0][:0]

Actually on a full flight on Delta from Tampa back in July, I saw a similar sized chap being escorted off the plane before take off

A delicate subject I know, but there is a point at which it would be helpful if the airlines could be given advance notification

This looks a fake to me ... he's too tall aside from anything, more than 7ft perhaps? Secondly, he couldn't be strapped in nor could people exit in an emergency, in which case surely someone this size would not have flown ...

Here's a guess, the flight is still boarding, hence the bins are still open and he's moved forward to chat to his mate perching on the armrest ...
