Interesting story here where Tesco has apparently banned shoppers from wearing nightware while they shop.

Any guilty parties here?

As an aside, desperate as I am, I was run over by an old lady with a stick in Waitrose last night in the cheese department, but she wasn't my type.

Cheers, H

I heard this on Jeremy Vine earlier. Who are these people that go to the supermarket in distinguishable PJs? I can be caught at home in a sleepsuit pretty much around the clock on some weekends but I'd never think to pop to Tesco wearing it, never mind fluffy PJs with cartoon sheep on them (approximation - I don't actually own anything like that).

Though to be fair, I dont see the 'harm'. I personally don't think its appropriate but at least they are fully clothed - which is more that can be said for many young girls on a Friday night buying their booze from the BWS aisle. [:D]

Thanks,
Sarah

I had to read the article twice as I felt sure I had misunderstood.

I couldn't get over the fact that the less than stylish PJ wearing shopper felt it was completely unreasonable that she was being asked to get dressed before she went shopping! [V]

Same here, I was wondering if it was just me being snobbish though, clearly not!
