Has anyone here got any experience of paying excess baggage with Air New Zealand or Singapore at all?
I returned from Singapore 18 months ago about 6kg over limit and SQ never batted an eyelid.[:D]
Came back from Sydney via SQ today with serious excess (2 extra suitcases, each over 30Kg limit) and they didn't charge me anything. I was worried because their website said $60 per Kg which would have cost me a small fortune!
A purple boarding card, pre-booked cowshed treatment, glass of T10 with lime, a proper amenity kit, packet of polos and a Freedom Menu please!
