I have in the past booked a fly drive with Virgin Holidays and then redeemed 10,000 flying club miles in exchange for 50 vouchers which I used to pay off some of my Virgin Holidays booking.

This year I have booked my flights directly with Virgin Atlantic, but still want to book hotels, tickets etc through Virgin Holidays.

My question is, will I still be able to use my flying club miles to clear some of my balance with vouchers as before, even though I haven't booked a flight?

It doesn't look like it : T&C's say -

10,000 for 50 voucher or 20,000 for 100 voucher, towards Virgin Holiday packages that include flights and accommodation. Vouchers may only be redeemed when booking directly with Virgin Holidays.

Virgin Holidays vouchers may be used towards any brochure priced Virgin Holidays package provided it is booked with Virgin Holidays direct through reservations.
There is no maximum limit to the value of the vouchers, which may be used towards any published brochure priced Virgin Holidays package, booked through Virgin Holidays on the dedicated telephone numbers.
Upon issue, the validity of the voucher may not be extended and the voucher is non refundable.
Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, special offer or promotion.

Oh shucks, just my luck, never mind. Got good miles plus money flights with VA so all's not lost I suppose. Will have to find something else to spend those miles on [ii] Thanks AlecK
