Confused about Flight Time

I have recieved 2 different emails about change of times on VS5 on March 28th and the VS web site has a different time. Does anyone actually know what is the actual departure time on that day for that flight and why (if any) there has been any change?

Often the website takes time to update any changes in flight times and generally speaking, the email would be the one I would go with. If however it is a significant change maybe a call to VS is in order

thanks i did call VS and they said initially that the time was same as published on the web then he said no stick to the time stated on the email. hence the reason for me posting the question here. think theres an hours difference but id still like to know what is the right time and out of interest why the change of time?

Flight departure times often change, there are various reasons for this, but it will be a change in the slots either at the departure or arrival airport that has changed your flight time, the reason will remain unknown.

I once had an email from the now defunct Zoom to say my flight had changed.

'NOOOOOO!' I thought when I saw the subject line as I had visions of a much later departure with effects on missing out on my holiday time.

Closer reading was that the time had changed by a grand total of 5 (five) minutes. Being the good soul that I am I clicked the link to confirm that I understood this change of time and all the implications.

Back came a thank you e-mail with the original time !

Mind all this went out of the window when I arrived at LGW to check in to find a 14 hour delay !
