I've taken delivery of the card printer (and straps, and slot cutter, and even the little plastic baggies to put them in)... but no word yet from the VS top brass. Hmmm... you might want to break into a trot when you get into LHR mitchja ;)

Hope you get approval for the tags - I reckon they're going to be great :)

Received my CafePress order today - ummm:

Ordered:
1 x Mug
1 x Mousemat
1 x Bumper Sticker
1 x Golf Shirt

Arrived:
1 x Mug
1 x Mousemat
3 x "Early American Journal Items - Documenting The History of Photography 1839-1897"
2 x "The Kodak Camera"

As much as I like taking pictures, I think they've either got it slightly wrong or you're branching out already :D

--edit 15th April:
Credit to CafePress - I contacted them last night via their website to inform them of the mistake, an email was waiting for me this morning saying they would dispatch the missing items within 24hrs :)

Cheers

Well, the VF mug & mousemat are excellent (mousemat is already in pride of place at work, but the mug is staying at home so it doesn't go missing :))

The books look really good quality too, but I've not read them ;)
Here's what they are:

Hi Pix,

Quick question - will you be able to ship them to Japan, or is it UK only.

Won't expect to see too many of them here, but always like to fly the flag :)

I think the CafePress stuff ships anywhere (they're a third party, so they handle all the logistics). For the luggage tags, when we eventually have blessing from Virgin, I can ship them pretty much anywhere that Airmail goes, so Japan should be fine.

You need to redo the image, it links to a local address on your hard disk making you the only one who can view it

I'm very happy to report that the missing shirt & sticker turned up today - only 5 days after reporting the discrepancy. Excellent work Cafepress (and excellent quality Pix - maybe VS could upgrade those of us that turn up at check-in in the shirt? :D)

BTW, Cafepress have said that I can do what I want with the books that I received in error. So, boys & girls, if there are any photographers out there, I now have the following available:

3 x "Early American Journal Items - Documenting The History of Photography 1839-1897"
2 x "The Kodak Camera"

Open to offers, first come, first served, buyer pays shipping....

Sorry about all the delays, but it was important to make sure we were all legal and above board. The V-Flyer Store is now (finally!) open, and has a selection of luggage tags in there. Suggestions for improvements and tweaks are always welcome - we live in a democracy at V-Flyer ;)

The aircraft models are also in there, but note the store doesn't let you order where there's no stock. I've got a couple of the Virgin Sun models in, but still waiting for the shipment of the VA 747s, 380s and 340s.

I'll have a look into getting some enamelled pins made, as suggested in another thread too.

Thanks,

Pix

Hi Pegitt - did you have any problems with checkout? Haven't seen the order come through yet (which is a worry!).

If anyone gets any odd messages coming up, don't hesitate to contact me. The online store is very new, so if there's any gremlins in there just shout if your order is saying status 'In Progress' forever.
