Its now exactly 1 month till we fly from MAN-MCO, a flight which was booked about 15 months ago.Having last flown with Virgin about 4 years ago and being very impressed,I have been really looking forward to this flight especially as we are going PE for the first time
However...... after reading the posts about how poor the Manchester to Orlando route is, i just wonder if its worth getting excited about.
Will the IFE work? How late will departure be? and will it be a diluted version of the Virgin experience that we enjoyed before?
Is either Honey Pie or Island Lady less decrepit than the other?

someone reassure me please.......

Yes it is worth looking forward too.

Nobody complains more than me about this flight and I have checked the last four days and although on three out of the four it left late the plane made up the time and arrived ahead of schedule. They is no diffrence between the planes and the IFE always works (except map)its just prone to the odd channel being iffy. The one positive is that the PE passengers get off first even before Club Orlando and therefore you will get to the immigration queues (which can get quite long) ahead of the rest. You will only notice a differnce if you have flown on the southern based aircraft. So look forward to that sunshine like I am as I return to Florida mid July.
