I have just booked an UC fare (z) for a Sat depature next May to MCO. I could not believe the fare - £1360 (& 10 tier points)! I expect that many already know about the merits of booking early and I am now one of you...

I am assuming that there will be suites then although the seat planner is showing the current LGW 744 layout.

cheers

I got exactly the same fare on a JFK flight for September. They are good fares, but they also go so so fast.

I noticed it on the MCO route and pondered over it for a day. Went back the next day and it had risen to over £4000[:(] Missed out on that one.

Nick

Yes, on the VS website.

I got an UC reward ticket for Mrs GO and told her that we are booked into economy!:D

FC said that the price went up as the number of seats sold increased.
It is interesting that the same flight a day earlier was coming up at three times the price.

I checked with VTS and they were offering an UC fare of ~£1800 but this might have been a bit flexible.

I paid ~£1850 for my UCS flight for September 24th to JFK....looking at the seap map there's still no other bookings in UC yet for my VS3/4 flights.

VS are generally fairly good if you book a super apex fare!

That will be a Zulu fare but you get everything as a D or J class fare (except the limo)

I would advise to get to LGW early (for clubhouse pampering!) as im not sure when VS will be providing in flight massage etc on the LGW routes!

availability is usually fairly limited unless your flexable on dates!

but enjoy;) if this is your first UC experience I guarantee it wont be your last!

Unfortunately my timing was off by about a week, and the price for UC nearly doubled! I had to stick with PE for my trip comming up, should still be good though :)
