Why not do the beef dripping roll, with Krispy Kreme for dessert?

Now what woud sir like to drink?
- Webster's Yorkshire Bitter (do they still make that?)
- Tetley (tea or bitter?)
- John Smith's
- Dandeline and Burdock (my Mum was from Yorkshire too!)

You would need to be moved from gate 42 to gate 7 of T4 about twelve times to work off that many calories.

Sainsburys sells diet Dandilion & Burdock!

Dandelion and Burdock reminds me of visits to my grandparents. Apparently D&B is used as a food supplement (not sure what benefit it's meant to have), but I doubt that the fizzy pop version falls under this classification.

Could I suggest Theakstone's or Black Sheep as an alternative to Webster's, and Yorkshire Tea rather then Tetley. Oh and anything from Betty's to eat.

Can confirm that my local Sainsbury's and ASDA both have Dandelion and Burdock. Bought some the other day for when my parents fly in to visit my new house

Ahhh, excellent choices - in fact, you could substitute Yorkshire Tea (or plain water!) for the Websters, much tastier - never cared for Websters [V]

I remembered this thread when I was on VS20 coming home this week, and managed to take the menu away (with the permission of one of the FAs of course!).

So, here's what was on offer on VS20 SFO>LHR 12th July:

Hi Boo Boo,

If memory serves the exSFO and ex LAX menus ( flight numbers usually appear somewhere on the bottom of the menu) are very similar so your ex LAX menu should be close to what mcuth wrote ( hopefully)

OK, in the same vein, I'm on the VS53/54 in August, out on the Thursday and back on the Sunday. So far, it looks like I have the whole of UC to myself on the 53! Does that mean I get unlimited massages?

I'm guessing that even despite the late departure (2010) the LHR-BOS Freedom Menu will be whatever the standard Transatlantic outbound menu looks like these days. Anyone have any idea what's on it?

I'm especially interested in the inbound menu on the VS54, as that is a day flight leaving at 0800. Will we get the usual ex-BOS inbound menu, but served in reverse order (i.e. breakfast first)?

Also, I'm guessing that I'll get the same crew both ways?

I have another questions about the freedom menu. Say on a West-East transatlantic crossing where dinner and breakfast is served, can you choose say some fruit off the breakfast menu at any time during the flight? Likewise, can you choose to have the beef towards the end of the flight?

Well, I've never tried that - the menu does say it says it "gives you the flexibility to eat what you want, when you want" and then it says under that that "breakfast will be served shortly before we land"

BTW, WRT to what TBS was saying, on the bottom of my menu it does say VS008/20, so I imagine it only applies to those 2 flights.
