UCS Questions

Hello All,

I have the following questions on the UCS:

1) For the Freedom Menu, does any have a copy of the latest one (They can scan or put somewhere) I want to have a look at the quality of the meals

2) Do they have special Chinese selections on the HKG route?

3) Do they ever run our of food on the plane?

4) How does the seat convert to a bed (a detailed description is possible) or is there an instruction card someone can post up

5) Travel with a partner. Is this possible so that you can still have a converstaion?

6) Seats on the plane - Which one is the best on the 744 and 346?

7) On the Upper Deck on the 744 does the PE create a lot of noise and make it hard to sleep? Also is the Angle of the seat (facing into the cabin) really steep there??

8) The Amenity Kit, What brand is it?

9) Quality of the Duvet and Mattress cover.

10) Overall Service? (As i am used to CX's J and F Class service, is it comparable)?

11) The Car/Boat Limo thingy? What is this? How does it work?

12) The baggage tags for Upper Class. I heard they can send the tags to you first? how does that work?

Seen it happen once or twice.

Seat back folds forward and joins up with the foot rest.

5) Travel with a partner. Is this possible so that you can still have a converstaion?
Yes - various options.

6) Seats on the plane - Which one is the best on the 744 and 346?
744, I like 8 or 9 A/K. Big, wide aisle.

8) The Amenity Kit, What brand is it?
Virgin Vie

9) Quality of the Duvet and Mattress cover.
Not bad at all.

10) Overall Service? (As i am used to CX's J and F Class service, is it comparable)?
Don't ask anyone here for an objective response. It's damm good...

12) The baggage tags for Upper Class. I heard they can send the tags to you first? how does that work?

I have always got mine tagged at the UC check in - they are just silver card luggage tags that they put on to identify your bags for priority handling.

VS has better service in UC than CX J, now CX F is another matter but with the right VS crew not far off,with the wrong crew miles off.
