Woke up at 4.45am to a misty Thursday morning, to get ready for our holiday to Orlando-Checked on the VS site and there was already a 1 hour delay [B)]. Car arrived at 6am and for once we wernt held up and got there for 7.30am. Check-In was a beeze and very friendly staff who gave us Fast track through securty and then calapsed in Garfunkles to a full english![:D][^]


A few shops later and watched the 027 leave from the viewing gallery in the South terminal our flight was called to gate 19 which i had never been to before, didnt feel it had enough seats for everyone and was very crowded for a 744.

Priorty Boarding? Not a chance[V] But very frindly cabin crew made up for this. It was G-VROS-English Rose (which obviously had the old PE seats) that were to take us there so Nova IFE hence the average for IFE.

Flight went quite quickly(or felt it) Food was excellent, i think i went for the chicken but cant quite remember. Landed in MCO 40 minutes late so made up 20 minutes. Got Priority Disembarking so was a quick experince with MCO's security.

Bags came off quickly then dropped them off-never got that system with MCO and then had to wait 10 minutes for the last one. Off to AVIS rent-a-car to get the Dodge Caravan.

Overall a pretty good flight. Will have the return one soon.[:)]

P.S dont know wheather its just LGW planes but they have tried to take some of the catch phrases, like 'fly a younger fleet' off but have done a very bad job with this, any reason?

I had an excuse at Gatwick the other day that the gates are not set up to allow a Priority Boarding service.
Next time I'll wait and board much later.
