Weather warning

The national weather service has issued a winter storm warning for southern Nevada.

These storms have already hit N.California, pretty much closing SFO/OAK

Also..if you go to LIVEATC.net and scroll down to the KSFO feed you can here what is going on right now...it is a total cluster f**k in the bay area right now, flights are diverting all over the place, wind sheer warnings, micro bursts...glad I am not flying into the bay area..

Now could someone please tell me why VX decided to base out of SFO ?

I am tracking it on flightview while doing some paperwork..right now it is due inat 1.34pm...we shall see what the weather is doing then.

Ok VS 19 is in, looks like they are starting to clear the traffic at SFO now...actually..VS19 is at ECHO right now requesting clearance to taxi to the gate...Anorak time

God, how sad are we?.....

Sounded like they picked up a little ice on approach.

Ground is manic though.

Long time since I listened in to ATC and forgot how facinating it is. Shame LHR don't have live feed.
