This has me crying tears...of laughter...for years CES attendees have been famous for being the cheapest people to walk the face of the planet.

Whilst most convention people still gamble a little CES people spend their time at the show, in the buffets and trying to get strippers to give free lap dances.

Hence the reason the hotels move the room rates up, there was even a little note put out a couple of years ago explaining why room rates were higher than normal.

Anyways...please CES, don't break our hearts, don't leave town and have us having to fill up the rooms with..god forbid, people who want to spend money [:0]

Mmm, CHI or MCO instead - I really doubt they have the capacity with rooms and conference facilites to cope.

Perhaps they could hold it a Disney World. That'll keep the inner child happy. Not sure that the lapdancers will be up to much though.

Please leave..I am sorry we no longer have the $3.99 buffets.

MCO could handle CES, only problem is you will see Disney and the rest jacking their room rates through the roof becuase nobody will be going to the parks etc

MCO's a pretty handy conference location (Orange County Convention Center - I've been there a few times). [y]

And McCormick Place in Chicago is HUGE (again, been there over the years quite a few times). Let's face it, Chicago doesn't have a shortage of hotel rooms either (plus, a reasonable night life)

A tad on the cold side in January, though. [8D][:D][;)]

Neither cities have the number of hotel rooms needed to do a full blown CES.

Chicago can/do hold it, but you get a lot of the fly in for the day people.
