Sorry - airplane type again!!

I've just been speaking with Virgin Customer Services who have said you may have an airbus 340-600 or 747-400 (which I knew already).

Would anyone be able to advise again what type of plane will be going from LHR to JFK on 2 Jan 05 and returning the same route on 6 Jan 05.

Sorry to bother anyone again, but this site seems to be much more helpful than Customer Services!

Which flight numbers? One of the availability tools (see this thread) will be able to tell you which type of plane (i.e. 744/74S/346/34S/343) is currently planned for the flight on those dates - subject to operational change of course

Normally the VS3/4 is a 744, VS45/46 is a 744 and VS9/10 is a 346, but it's worth checking again nearer the time as the types get changed about a bit especially over the holiday periods.

I've found out it's the airbus on the outbound with the jumbo on the return.
