In a little over a year and a bit I've amassed over 350,000 Emirates miles - all from business travel to India. Now that I've realised this shocker (albeit a good one [y] ) I'm beginning to think what I could do. Some options considered include:

- a couple of United first class seats London-Los Angeles (155k each person)
- I have an added discount voucher of 45% on mileage redemptions with EK through to the end of the year so could do business class to Sydney say (makes them worth >500k, though probably not enough for first !!!)
- I can also use them on Japan Airlines, South African and Continental
- I could wait and see what routes EK start up on the A380

Looking for the usual witty and unusual ideas [^]

Why not use them to send a cello or a teddy bear around the globe?

Mmm, good point. I don't think teddy bears can be members of Flying Club though, Cellos on the otherhand....
