Ooh, you thread hijacker you...
Eat at The Cliff (it's expensive, you need to book in advance, but it's worth it) and try Tides, both a stone's throw (or a short taxi ride if you prefer) from your digs. And try out a place called Groots - again not far away - that may be a pretty basic joint but does cracking fish and chips (mushy peas, HP sauce, the mashings).
Do a trip on a catamaran - there's loads to choose from but, short of chartering your own, Cool Runnings really can't be beat. They do a nice lunch onboard, have a 'free' bar (don't worry, it's not one of those awful 'booze cruises') and they stop off for some decent snorkelling,
Hire a car and get lost (you will, but not for long) and if you want to try something ever so slightly different, sign up for Ted's Tour - he's a white Barbadian who shunned his family's hotel business, bought himself a bus and now takes tourists round the island he loves three times a week. And he takes rum with him in case anyone gets thirsty...
It's a great island, you'll love it. And, looking at the dates you're out there, if you just so happen to bump into a rum addled British guy who looks a tad like me, don't tell anyone on here - they think I'm a sober character and it would ruin my V-Flyer cred...
