Hi,

I'm thinking of flying SQ ( First class LHR-SIN-KUL) at New Year ( returning a week later).

Will SQ First give me access ( toghether with the VS FC Gold card)to the LHR clubhouse ( I thought I read somewhere that this was possible?).

If not , no big deal.

Also checking flights to MCO at the end of April for a week.

Upper class is only £1200 rtn ( dep 29th April- rtn 7th May)

Regards

TBS, I also booked a great fare to MCO for next May. Same as the quote you have no doubt. And defo UCS too from that point.

Although I'm suprised they still have any Z fares left for April. I know when I booked my May one (as soon as they went on sale), I checked a few days later and they had gone up to over 3K!!!

I often do LHR-SYD return in SQ 1st, you have to ask, but I have never been denied access to the Virgin Clubhouse for Mrs R and I, but I have never asked for a guest. Having said this, SQ are normally very accomodating if you are on a paid 1st ticket.

Hope this helps.

VS do codeshare on those flights.
You can get an VS flight number on an SQ flight, this will officially get you access with your ticket/and or AU card..

I think if you try and enter at LHR on an SQ F ticket you are in a grey area as officially you should use the SQ First lounge..

BTW SQ do have provision for VS lounge access at Newark and Jo'burg for F ticket holders..see here
