On the Disney discussion boards, someone is saying that the 747-400's will not be operating until Sept 2005
see here

Is this a myth, incorrect information, or has something changed?

Am I now correct in thinking that there are now no 747's left with the Arcadia system. I thought FAB was the last of the Arcadia to be changed to V-Port so that now it is suites on all LHR and V-port or Odyseey in Y.

Correct, Arcadia only appears on 4 of the remaining A343s; and those are the ones earmarked to leave the fleet.

Hey, Pix I know you are a busy man, but on the entertainment page on V-flyer it still has this above the list of Arcadia aircraft.;)

"The Arcadia system is on a selection of 747-400 and A340 aircraft".

very smooth Pix, ok well I want to first say you do a great job keeping this all up to date, but it is raining here in Los Angeles so we are all real bored playing on the web and not flying - so here is another one, 3 types of 747-400, is it not true the LHR and suite are now one in the same with no more non suite LHR 747's;)...o.k I'll go find some work to do !!!

AIRCRAFT DATABASE
The results of your search are shown below. Virgin use Airbus A340-300s, A340-600s and 3 different configurations of the Boeing 747-400 (LGW, LHR & 'Suite'). They also lease aircraft from Air Atlanta, notably the 747-200 which is occasionally used on the Manchester flights.

Back to the original thread, I see that both the 747-200's at Man have the Odyseey entertainment, I understand that the front two cabins may be a lot different from LHR, but LHR has three 747's with Odyseey in Y, is there much of a differents between Y on the 200's and the Odyseey planes at LHR.

Pix, don't go to bed yet, VMEG is back with suites;)

Going back to the MAN-ORL aircraft choice, I can already see passengers are going to moan when they do get the Suite 744-400 in May due to no games. Although NOVA is being enhanced it still won't have games, albeit the 742 have oddessey with games.

Some you win some you lose!!

I'm surprised about the lack of games within Nova.
Obviosly you'd need to replace the remotes in Y/W as they're not removable..but in UC they do have a gaming remote, suggesting Nova (in some form can do games[?])
