Well after this statement by 'our Howard'
He is a member of the First To Fly group....what no mention of V-flyer anywhere [:#]
Though he could be talking about us here
Members of the group, who describe themselves as Òdedicated nuttersÓ [y]
I loved this quote from him:
I thought it would be really good to go on it and was boasting to some of my friends that I was going to be on the flight only to hear that some of them were travelling on it as well.

And what about poor old julesn. He's been left out of the equation. Mind you, he's probably less of a nutter than the other two [:w]

missed the chance for a plug though.
Here's what happened. A guy from the Press Association called me up on Friday: the contact to me was made from FirstToFly. They were looking for someone for comment from the UK. You have to remember that journalists never let the truth get in the way of a good story. He wanted me to comment on how much it cost - to which I answered with a limp 'it was more reasonable than I thought', thus almost guaranteeing that the cost aspect wouldn't get printed.
I can assure you that I wore my t-shirt with the v-flyer logo as prominent as it gets throughout the flight. There was a _lot_ of professional video going on. Not to mention all the still shots.
There were journos from the Times and the Indy on board. I think something's appearing in the Times on Saturday, not sure about the Indy.
Cheers, Howard

In the interview, the first thing he asked was about my membership of FirstToFly, to which I laughed saying I didn't know they existed until two days ago. That was not seen in print of course.
