Hmmm - just counting the number of things that can go wrong there...

And I thought the UCS was 'over-engineered'. [:w]

I don't think they intend pax to 'deploy' these things! In the past two flights, I used a spare suite for sleeping and my normal one for eating etc. Y'know, spread out a bit.

I am sure these will go wrong a lot. The last one took a lot of time and what seemed like a bit of brute force to put away.

Thanks for that Howard, now I can see how they manage to get the double bed in the middle, collapsible arm rests.

It has to be said that that's a work of art!

What on earth is the belt by the pillow for? Does it go across your forehead? [:o)]

Yeah I just noticed that myself. I think it's the vestigial belt from the normal seat.

Excellent!
Maybe the belt is for sitting up and reading in bed!

Crikey - you need to be sure you're ready for bed 'cos a change of mind is a big deal! And it took two whole minutes ... time for a pee while that happens [:D].

So, Howard, as was asked earlier on, how comfortable was the bed? Compared to UCS?

It was very comfy, no problem getting to sleep. If I am going to criticise it, it's a bit narrow, and not quite as conducive to lying on your side as the UCS is. It's not as hard as UCS, something I know some complain about. I don't know why they don't provide another 6' or 9' of width: there's easily enough room in the suite to do this, and as far as I could tell there would be no restriction in the folding area behind the seat.

You get THREE pillows so plenty of support, and very comfy watching the telly. The duvet isn't as thick as on VS, but I was still quite toasty enough with the one provided.

Thanks, Howard. Unfortunately you have got me wanting to try it for myself! If you need someone to carry your luggage on your next trip ...

Chuck. I think that currently involves a trip to Inverness. That's where the end of the queue is. [;)]
