What strange things do you pack?

My father has travelled extensively throughout my life and for no good reason (following his advice) I always pack a hand torch.

I always take a crucifix (OMG!) and a photo of my beloved dog Jacques who died last year [:#].

I don't know if it's strange, but I always take antibacterial wipes and gel with me and I wipe everything down that I touch on the plane, my tray table, arm rest etc. I used to get some bug or other every time we flew anywhere, but since doing this I've caught nothing ( apart from strange glances).
I've also got a purse that I only take on holiday.

For the record Loperamide is not strange it's essential, but maybe the Flying Fox's bathplug solves the same problem? Anyone else have to take brand new underwear everytime they pack?

If I'm travelling to (say) MCO in (for instance) Y, with (for the sake of argument) 5 screaming children, I always like to pack a can of mace and an electric cattle prod.

What about duct tape? Valium? And that's just for the crew to use. Man, I'd hate to be crew in Y on a MCO flight during the height of the season, I'd want the Congressional Medal of Honour, a CBE and a canoe for that. At the very minimum, a pack of M&M's to cause anrachy amongst the cabin.

I pack my Richard Branson puppet so that I can make people feel like they're flying in style with the owner in J... hahahaha

Somehow, my old receipts always end up in my carry-on bag though... strange...

I know someone that used to pack a 'Conch Republic' passport in the event that the plane was hijacked... don't know how that would help when the plane would be going down anyway, but I found that rather amusing...

Saunter into Y with a mega-sized family bag of M&Ms; rip said bag open scattering contents from row 30-something back; enjoy the ensuing melee for a few minutes; retire to UC bar before things get too nasty.

Just make sure mdvipond jr. is safely ensconced up front, else there may be blood...

yes this is the same for me
also just on a 'funny' note how many other women have almost 200 pairs of underwear (well knickers then)
especialy if we buy em every time we go on jollies!!!
