Put that in your Kop and smoke it, Scousers! What a plum!

Ahh! United. Probably England best team currently. Still a few more Champions Leagues to go before being England's best ever. (Stick that up your Stretford end [:p])

I agree with you on Europe -- I'd like to see the Red Devils win a few more European championships before I could safely hail them as among the all-time greatest of the great...but certainly they are in the cream.

And please do not forget that they are currently not the best team England as ever had. I believe they are on 16 League titles and Liverpool are on 18.

RE: The Boro tie

We were lucky to pull out a draw today. I still reckon we'll win the league but, holy Hades, that was a nail biter.

It is better this season. I would rather have it go to the wire than someone winning the title with about 10 weeks of the season still left.
One of the best seasons is still the Blackburn/Man Utd title battle 94/95 with the live split screens on Sky TV on the last day/match. West Ham keeper (McKlosko??) played out of his skin.

Yet there are still only 4 clubs with their names on the Premiership cup. A lot of 'big' and 'big spending' clubs nowhere near getting their names on it. I suppose they don`t need that pointing out so I won`t post, oops too late, pressed the button.

The 'Premiership' is no different to the old First Division in that the best team in the country that year wins it.

As long as other division's team can be promoted into it, it's not right to set it up as something special. It's a governance and money thing.

3 years time it might well be called 'The Eliteship' or 'The Ultimateship' or 'The league that only fans from Surrey can afford to watch..ship'

That boy Ronaldo (and Owen Hargreaves!),
Will make you
Look sh...

France is weeping tonight. Again. They must get so tired of that. This week has been a clear indication of Arsenhole's lack of mental fitness (and, of course, my mental fitness is always in question as well).

What is the rule on the 'John Aldridge shuffle' as you run up to take a penalty? I thought it had to be all one movement rather than a definate stop, then kick.
