nice one Alan :)

Can you use it with VH [?]

Regards

It doesn't actually tell you. You have to go to the web site for more inforamation and send the prize card, your We owe U details and the receipt for the petrol bought.
As I need that receipt to claim back my expenses, I don't think I will bother

Alan, I wouldn't get too excited, these offers usually mean you have to pay full price, you can't use them with any other offer or discount and they frequently have other restrictions, i.e. when you can use them. Whenever I have checked them out you can usually do much better as an independent traveller.

Just my 2p.

Bazz,
I looked at the T & C's on the web site and yes, it is pretty much that way, book a package holiday for at least two adults for 7 days from a specific travel agent etc...

They always sound great until you read the small print! [:(!]

I got a 2 for 1 meal 'prize' yesterday. When you read the small print, you need to submit the card and the receipt for at least £30 of fuel to gat a voucher.

Umfortunately, I use a company All Star card and this means that we are not supposed to be given receipts. I suppose that they would accept my copy of the All Star voucher?

I normally get £50 of diesel at a time, I'll get £30 a time now and visit more often.

Hi guys,

I've just started collecting these Texaco starts under the understanding of the 600:1000 deal... it did seem more than a little generous at the time!

Anyhoo, I'm nowhere near the 600 mark, let alone 1000, but I'm interested in this 1:1 arrangement. Does anyone know the limits of the exchange? ie do you always have to convert in blocks of 1000? Or could you convert say 3500[?]

Got "free hotel accomodation" on a scratchcard when i filled up today. I can't see anywhere that tells me what this entails exactly, but i'll send it off and see what i get.

Phil,
Nick states that the 1:1 doesnt come in until next year..or is that for existing FC customers?

Are you saying all those points you had were converted 1:1?

I guess the onlybright side Phil, is that you didn't pay for that much gas!

I guess the real sweat deal for you would be points for maritime fueling!!
Found anyway of tapping into that yet (besides a FC Credit Card)

Stu, previously under the 600:1000 arrangement it had to be in multiples of 600 so I am sure it will now be in multiples of 1000.

Jonathan, the deal for We.O.U. collectors that have previously converted their Stars to FC miles remains at the 600:1000 ratio for collection and redemption up to 31 Dec 2004 for those that have not redeemed for FC miles the change to the 1000:1000 rate is immediate. There was however one exception to this, PatJohnson posted earlier in this thread.

Phoned to convert another 600 stars into 1000 FC miles yesterday with no problems what so ever. Just wait and see how long until they hit my FC account....usually 3 - 4 weeks.

You can now do the conversion online here but it's only at the 1:1 ratio (starting at 1000 stars min)

I had my new WEUO welcome pack today (about 4 months late)... and inside the cover there's a really fetching picture of the statue of liberty and the Statement that WEOU do flying club miles which is apparently a "new" offer.[:0]

As previously stated by others this is a 1:1 ratio. But is apparently effective immediately!?

There's some nerve in stating its new, but then thats better than "improved".[}:)]
