I Need to fly from Chicago to NYC in October.

Jetblue is around 70. Are they any good. They seem ok for legroom. There's quite a few carriers to choose from, so any suggestions welcome.

TIA!

I flew JetBlue between New York and Boston last summer and have absolutely no complaints about them apart from that their check-in at JFK was quite chaotic (not sure if they will have moved into their new terminal by then).

From what I remember, you get more legroom (36 inches) in the first 'x' row of seats before it goes back to their standard 34 inches. There's also live TV and you get a free drink and snack.

Hope this helps

We're flying them in October between IAD and MCO. Spoken to a lot of people about them and they seem really good. Their legroom is 34' but they've just introduced 'Even More Legroom' which gives you 38' for $10-20 (I think ORD-JFK would be $15) They introduced this after we originally booked and when I tried to change and upgrade to the EML seats it wouldn't let me. I emailed them twice and got no reply, then a third email was repsponded to saying sorry and they moved us to the EML seats for free saving us $75 which I thought was really good since we've never flown them before.

Plus they will be operating from their new terminal at JFK by then. Also if you are thinking of booking more than one flight if you pay through paypal you get $20 of your next flight currently.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll be booking Jetblue then. Quite convenient that they fly into JFK, as I can save some money on a return bus ticket into Manhattan.

Looks like the plane is an Embraer, so only one row of extra leg room, so I'll book soon [:D]

Thanks again!

All US airlines are equally crap (except VA LOL) so you throw a coin up and take your changes on no delays, cancellations, sour FAs, miserable conditions etc.

That said, Jet Blue are the most interesting scuz floating on the pond!
