IB8106 PMI-IBZ 23rd June 2008

A very short flight, and therefore a brief TR. Dropped off at the airport by local work colleagues, through security and found the airport lounge (due to travelling with someone with a BA Silver card). Very quiet - only 4 people in there. Free WiFi and plenty of snacks and drinks available. Called to gate early (lucky and I have no idea how this happened but I managed to lose my boarding card in the lounge....which no-one could find!). SO I got a hand written one with my seat number on it.

Bussed to the plane - an CRJ100 (I think). One thing we noticed when we boarded is that it has VERY small overhead bins....no wheelie bags in here!! Safety briefing was in Spanish with English translation afterwards (although by then all the equipment had been put away!). Long taxi out to the runway and then very quick take-off.

Whole ground to ground is only 30 minutes, and somehow they managed to do a drinks round (free which is odd for an Iberia flight)! Descent was very abrupt when it started, and we came in very nose down with a levelling out literally just before landing.

Was impressed by the crew on this flight and how efficient they were with service!

Sorry forgot to add, that the other great thing about this flight is that although the tickets seem a little expensive (83 Euros) for such a short flight, they are fully flexible and therefore you get 300 BA miles and 20 Executive Club Points....much better than similar cost domestic flights in the UK!
