So, following DL's advice I emailed the two companies as to who was the trip operator and both came back to say it was Sundance. I had suspected that because the description of the tour on both was the same and each had a picture of a red helicopter which was also on the Sundance site. The other operators had different coloured choppers. Anyhow to cut a long story short, I was able to cancel with Maverick without penalty and booked with the one that gave the price in Euros rather than dollars. I must say I am rather pleased as I have saved over 100 Euros doing it this way [y] Thanks a million, DL. If I ever meet you in the Clubhouse I'll buy you a drink [;)] Champagne, of course!! [:o)]

One of the things that occurred to me while researching this was the number of helicopters buzzing around the Grand Canyon! It must resemble Hyde Park Corner in the rush hour!! [:0]

Kind off...but the Grand Canyon is on a different scale size wise than Hyde park....It's one of those things you have to see once in your lifetime.

Did the Maverick Tour couple of weeks back, all excellent, yes expensive (wish these discussions were had sooner), however, promptly picked up, new choppers, very comfy, and great views, funny personable pilot.
Saw the Sky bridge- what a joke (hardly a pin prick on the scheme of things, only just in what is vaguely the 'grand Canyon'). VERY hot 109F when we went, so god knows what it must be like queuing for your 'turn on that glass balcony',
Its a good 40 mins out to the canyon from LV in the sky, with flight over Lake Mead/ Hoover Dam etc. We did the morning flight and flew back down the strip although daytime, well worth it.

NB; Just double check where you'll be flying from as beleive some take you on a long bus journey first? (others maybe able to shed light on this?)

Sundance fly flom their own 'terminal'/ buiding at LAS (bottom end of the strip). Our limo stopped literally outside the door.Thankfully HL will be spared the ordeal of being transported miles out to Boulder City (or whatever it's called)[8D].
