Ok, I'm abit stupid [ii], Im going to use revivals for the first time on my flight back in September. How does it actually work? Are you given a voucher to get in like in the clubhouse and if so where do you get your voucher from? Or do you just show your boarding pass?

Also, at which point do you go to revivals; is it before you collect your luggage or after? If it's after, what do you do with your luggage - im thinking in terms of security, I guess if you take your luggae in with you its kind of ok as I hear that revivals is outside the terminal building???

sorry to sound such a plonker, but thats what I am! [?]

Hello SC.

You go through the torment of passport control and collecting your bags just like any other punter. After customs, you exit airside. At the airside exit, make your way diagonally ahead and right towards the lifts, make your way up one floor. Turn right out of the lifts and Revival's right in front of you.

Access is governed by a list the front desk have in revivals. A boarding pass will of course help.

Cheers, Howard

Revivals is on the 1st floor of T3. As you come out of customs, head to the far right as if heading for car parks and go up in the lifts (all sign posted).

All you need is to show either your boarding card or passport and you'll be checked off on their list. Luggage is stored behind the reception desk.

Most of all, ENJOY.

...and you can either take your luggage into one of the shower rooms with you (they're big enough), or leave it in the shelving behind the front desk - your choice [y]

In terms of 'getting in', they'll have your name on a sheet when you get there. I've never had to actually produce my BP or any ID since I've been going there (which is a quite a while!) Just give them your flight number and name, and they'll confirm any car arrangements if you have any as well as allocate you a shower room if you want to make use of one. Breakfast is available throughout - some buffet, some cooked to order.

SC,

FWIW, I don't know if you're travelling alone or with others, but when in Vegas with my drinking buddies I often enjoy some 'me' time in the form of a long drive around the environs of Death Valley. My mates think I'm nuts, but when you live in Central London I really appreciate the space. OK, so I'm weird. Death Valley itself is little more than a (pricey) gas station and acres of RV parks. But I find the solace outside of there in the desert proper strangely theraputic.

And Badwater (alt -282ft) is very very hot so make sure you take lots of water and have a full tank of gas.

Howard,

Yes Im definitely going to enjoy myself, will be approaching DV from the west after some whitewater rafting in Kernville, I have a night at the Furnace Creek Ranch of which there are good/bad reports but should be ok, and then up to Beatty and down the 95 past the testing grounds into Vegas for a night or two and then up to New York for a concert and then clubhouse/JFK and Revivals.

Yes, London, I used to live there but went back to the countryside.

Looking forward to those wide-eyed open skies in Nye County![y]

I've had to show my Gold card once, when arriving off a flight in PE, and going to Revivals.

Revivals is one of the best parts of the UC experience in my opinion, and the staff are wonderful. After the overnight flight, it really perks you up and gets you back on your feet. Enjoy!
