We travelled to Heathrow the night before, prior to our flight. I was like a headless chicken as our seats had been moved and then when i telephoned VA, 3 times they assured me my seats were fine. I managed to do online check-in for my parents without a problem.

We did get to the airport early just to make sure we got the seats we wanted. By 06.45 we were waiting outside the CH, there were quite a few people there too, around 30. Once in we all had some light breakfast and had some lovely Champers. It was when i was checking on my dad, who does love a drink!!!!

, i spotted Ian propping the bar up, with a champagne in hand. After introductions, i soon realised that we would get on just fine[y]. We boarded after our 2nd call and followed Ian through. Once on board we settled the kidlets in, they loved their Uc seats and soon settled themselves.

The service was excellent as was the crew. The FSM was fantastic.

The Food was Ok, not superb but nicely washed down with some more champers. It was after our meal, we all met at the bar for a gab and of course more champagne!!

The flight did go quite quickly and without hitch, we really enjoyed Ian's company we had such a laugh.

Once landed we made our way through Immigration, what an absolute nightmare[V], it was terrible and we watched as Ian whizzed through the Diplomat channel[:?].

the drive to Orlando took 2hrs 50 not bad i don't think.

Overall a fantastic flight. We think the next one may be Dubai, just me and the hubby.

We're doing the same run in a few weeks, though in PE.

Dare I ask, just how bad was Miami Immigration[:I] ?

Andrew,

They had a problem with Fingerprinting, so that held us up around 20mins. In comparison to MCO, JFK its quite a bind, just make a run for it when you land. I am sure if your in PE, you will have a better chance of a quick exit, hopefully.

Dollar was a short ride away and once there we noticed a very long line, however we have the Dollar Express card, works wonders and the staff were great, especially our server who asked me my age twice as he didn't believe i was 36. !!!!!. I liked him

Thank you, great TR - the photos really bring it to life (and make it a bit different to the standard TR).

We are flying on VS05 In about 5/6 weeks.

I knew we would get along fine too as soon as you spotted me - and sharing the same warped sense of humour was an added bonus !

LOL

I will IM you my details - if you remember I did get out a card but somehow the FSM found it in the toilet (bizzare).

Enjoy the rest of your hols and love to all.

Hope to c ya soon,

HG xxxx

Thank you for the TR, it seems everyone enjoyed the flight which makes it a great way to start a vacation [y]
