LGW Clubhouse

Hi all

I hope someone can help as I have trawled the net for the answer with no luck

My husband and I are planning on booking Premium Economy tickets to Vegas through VA. Will we be able to add access to the Clubhouse, or is it strictly for Upper Class or Virgin Holidays passengers?

Paid access to London Clubhouses is available to Gold card holders for extra guests, and to those who have booked flights through VH.

There are stories of other people paying for access in the past, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

PE on its own does not give CH access.

If you have your heart set on entering the LGW CH, maybe you could check out VH flydrive prices.

If you do book via VH, you can buy access http://www.virginholidays.co.uk/extras/airport_lounges/info/lounges_clubhouse/gatwick.aspx

I've done it a few times but I think on all occasions it very much depended on the situation on the day. My advice is ask nicely at check in if the CH is accepting paid access, if they are great, if they're not 'such is life'.

The last two times my parents flew from LGW they were offered paid access at check in. I asked last time I flew to Barbados and was told it was too busy.
