What sort of thing do you want to know - I have quite a lot of info on the place...

I have read very conflicting reports on TripAdvisor and I wonder if I have made the correct choice for my trip next year.

Which room type would you recommend? Is it worth upgrading to a Spa or a Deluxe room?

I would say the Deluxe and Spa rooms are well worth upgrading to - although you tend to get quite a few families in the deluxe rooms so if you are a couple you might prefer the Spa as it is Adults only.

Take the reviews with a pinch of Salt. If you got a good deal, I think the hotel is fine. If you paid brochure price then maybe there would have been better options. I sell the hotel regularly and don't have feedback that is much more the neutral.

Thanks for this. I think I will stick with the hotel but upgrade the room.

It's a very nice hotel, bua few things you may like to know, that I didn't before I got there.

The hotel is extremely small, for the amount of people it holds.
The hotel is right next to the roadside, not the most ideal setting.
Not really worthy of 4 * rating IMO

But a beautiful beach, restaurant, rooms...and a great west coast location.

We stayed there 3 years ago and found it to be OK but certainly not the Virgin Holidays 'flagship' property that they were on about in the brochure. The adults only section is actually across the main road from the rest of the hotel and features rooms set around a pool. One little niggle was that there were not enough loungers for the amount of rooms.
