Hi all
I wonder if someone could tell me how to go about sorting these two issues out please.
I recently took 2 flights on Hawaiian airlines, San Francisco to Honolulu and Honolulu to Las Vegas. As advised I produced my Virgin flying club card whilst checking in for both flights, but to be honest with you, on both occasion the check in clerk didn't seem to take much notice and hence I have not received any miles for these flights to date. I have made a request to Virgin and sent them my boarding passes for both flights, but I've noticed on the Virgin web site that you should sent either your ticket stub or E-ticket receipt. I don't have any of these as the paper tickets were taken at the time of boarding and only the boarding passes returned. Will this prove to be a problem?
While in San Francisco we stayed at the Grand Hyatt on Union Square, again while checking in I've made a point of producing my Virgin flying club card but again not much notice taken by the hotel clerk and again no miles have been posted. To date I have not made a claim for these miles as I only have checkout receipt. The receipt does contain all the details of our stay. Concerning this, should I send this to Virgin and make a claim for the missing miles using this receipt.
I hope I've explained myself clearly enough and thanks in advance for any advice.
Thanks [y]
