88 die in Aeroflot - Nord plane crash

Very sad.

Another tragic air crash. Aeroflot Nord have a good fleet as well. Russian TV reporting pilot avoided huge loss of life in city by actions to miss built up area.

And now Aeroflot has cut Aeroflot - Nord lose.

I guess with Aeroflot actually having a very good safety record since the A310 crash the similarity in names was to much.

Is it my imagination or have there been an abnormally high number of fatal air incidents recently? Very, very sad.
