Bargain. [y]

I am surprised Travelodge isn't asterisked out by the V-Flyer naughty word filter. [}:)][;)][8D]

I'm willing to put myself through it! [xx(]

I've booked a Travelodge in Central London for £19 in the sale for a night in a few weeks.

£19 for London is a bargain [y]

I quite like Travelodges, though have to admit Premier Inn's have been very good lately - a small step up from a TL. I like the Good Night Guarantee they offer too.

I have stayed in many a PI and TL during my university years on away fixtures for sport.

They aren't that bad. I have stayed in many, many worse places.

They are clean, friendly staff, modern bathrooms and the beds are comfy.

I have booked one for later in the year when Im off up to Liverpool for a night out.

One day, when stomachs are stronger, I shall tell of my experience of the Travelodge in Manchester. It is the only time I have ever walked out of a hotel before staying the night not caring whether I was refunded the money or not...

The book in advance prices are not to be sneezed at if all you want is a bed and a bathroom. I have used them many a time, though as the prices go up Premier Inn wins over everytime.

I've stayed in the Travelodge in Covent Garden and depending which site (as there are 2), you might be sleeping in a converted office block. However, it's clean, little noise and 5 mins from Oxford St and 2 mins from the centre of Covent Garden.

I've stayed in that one, and one in Croydon, another converted office block. The room was huge. which made it a problem to see the 20' telly from the bed. It was a little spartan though.

Never stayed in one before but have just used the £19 offer before we leave for Vegas in November at Manchester airport. We won't arrive until about 10pm and up by 5am to check in the next morning, basically a bed for the night that's all that's needed.
