LGW North lounges

Hi all,
With my Priorty Pass card burning in my pocket I'll have a choice of the Aviance Lounge or the Wentworth Lounge in a few weeks.
I'm travelling with my 70-something folks so looking for a peaceful/comfortable lounge with alcohol, especially for my father who's a nervous flyer.
Having never used the North terminal before I have no idea of which would be more suitable so I'd appeciate any opinions.

I cannot compare, but I (& Mrs Buns) have used the Avaiance on a few occasions and have found it most comfortable[:D]

It is quiet and had a good selection of snacks when we have visited

So much, so that I have booked in the outlaws when they fly out to Tampa in December[y]

I was eering towards the Aviance since it is older and hence may be quieter as the masses try the new (Prison) one. Pleased that you think it's up to standard.

Aviance lounge gets my vote. I used it the other week while my colleagues were in the BA Terraces, and I think I got a far better deal
