Morning All

Hoping someone can advise me on a PE seat query. Have never flown Virgin before and am flying to BGI from LGW on honeymoon early next year and am taking advantage of the seat pre booking facility.

Does anyone have any opinions on these seat selections.

Outbound 79 A and C - the two just in front of the stairs and inbound 74 H and K - just in front of one of the exits. My main concern is that they recline fully but any advice or opinions would be welcome. Looking at the seat ratings all the seats in the upstairs cabin are well rated - is this the case. Also will the changeover to the suite arrangement have any effect?

Thanks in advance for any advice you have.

Hi and welcome to v flyer

79 A& C are my favourite seats on the LGW fleet. Not only do you have the luxury of being able to recline without disturbing other pax but you also have a small side table that is most useful.

In addtion to the overhead bins you have side bins which help with keeping all your things togehter.

Being at the back of the cabin, you are last to be served, but you are closest to the galley if you need refills;);).

We will have to wait until one of our number travels on the newly refurbished fleet about the impact of UCS, but my money will be with being upstairs in the bubble.

hope that helps - have a great honeymoon[8D]

If you can get it make sure it's upstairs... I totally agree with Buns on this one.

These PE seats are such good value for money and worth the extra. I'm flying PE on a 343 early next year and I'm not looking forward to it one bit [:(]

I personally think any of the seats are fine up there as they'll always have each of the menu items (rather than just having chicken or pasta!!!) and you'll be close to the stairs so that when you leave the plane you'll be one of the first people off.

Hope this helps.

James,

I flew PE for the first time last year on a 343 and was still impressed despite the negative reviews. Looking forward to being in the bubble on my next trip:)
