Before reading the topic I thought that Virgin may have been complaining to the manufacturer that the new UC suite had turned Virgins upper class passengers into a pain in the ar*e

Sorry, my humour didn't work..I was referring to the fact that at the time I wrote 'over reaction' there were just 12 posts and 50% (6) of those were regarding what looked to be an easy mistake for a newbie to make. Just delete it and tell him - no drama.

I didn't intend to pick an argument, it just didn't seem a very friendly place to be?

Maybe confusion all around then, plus my 'humour' was turned on very low yesterday so I appologise for not picking up on what you intended.

We are a very friendly bunch here, but there are rules and the copyrighted info needed removing. I personally don't think it was done in an 'unfriendly' way, but I guess that is sometimes the trouble when you are reading things, two people reading the same thing can often interprite it in very different ways. No harm done though[:)]

Getting back on topic... What's the betting Contour have changed the seat design for the rival airlines sufficiently so that they actually believe they've cleared the patent? If it is a case of arguing over exactly what design elements the patent includes, then these cases are notoriously difficult and expensive. Trouble is, so much of this sort of design can revolve around personal judgement. Lets hope Virgin have got some clear specifics on their design patent.

So it all depends on exactly how the upper class passengers can sit on their seat and swivel !!! [:w] oh, and the footrest as well. Lets hope the commercial advantages of protecting this design outweigh the legal costs of enforcing it. [:?]
